"A Semente" Children's Centre

IIt is a social response of a socio-educational nature, aimed at supporting the family and the child, designed to take in children up to the age of 5, during the period corresponding to the impediment of their parents or those who exercise parental responsibilities.

It can accommodate 68 children in the crèche and 25 children in the pre-school.

The following facilities are available to the community, parents and guardians:

- 2 Nurseries: from 4 to 12 months

- Yellow Room: from 12 to 24 months

- Orange room: from 12 to 24 months

- Red room: from 24 to 36 months

- Blue room: 3 and 4 years old

General Objectives and Educational Purposes of the Nursery and Pre-School:

- To aim to be a privileged partner for parents in the continuity of care and affection;

- To guarantee the quality of relationships: institution/child/family/community;

- Respect the individuality of each child;

- Promote the integral and harmonious development of the child, in order to encourage curiosity, critical thinking, stimulate creativity, based on the assumption - Learning by Playing;

- Building on the child's existing knowledge to develop and improve new learning;

- Encouraging family participation in the educational process, so that the school becomes an extension of the family;

- Establishing relationships of effective collaboration with the community.
